Foamed parts

Bi-Plast moulds structural foam parts using conventional methods, but through the years, in addition, we have developed our own methods and know-how to mould parts with very low relative density. The relative density for PE LD and -HD is for instance less than 0.2 g/cm3 and for ABS, PS, PP and POM the lower limit is app. 0.4-0.5 g/cm3 - depending on the geometry and design of the part. This opens up interesting perspectives in various areas, for example for replacement and improvement of parts formerly made of cork, balsa wood or the like.
